“ The Jungle Book ”

This was taken in Rudyard Kipling's former home in Sussex - not far up the road from our home.
It is a limited edition copy of the original manuscript - and a far cry from Walt Disney!

2/3 stop underexposed, just to darken the frame slightly. Wish I had shot slightly lower & more ...

I like it and your idea of shooting it a bit different. For "reading" left to right, I wonder if the picture would work if it was flipped left to right, or would the book not look correct? I think the image in the book is a focal point and should be to the right side.
