The River Tay is one of the foremost salmon rivers in the UK. Newburgh, where I live used to have a thriving salmon netting industry. Now only fly fishing takes place. When the village park was established by the river the sculpture in the image was made as one of the centre pieces.

    Mike, would love to visit this place someday.  I like the story about the river and history of salmon fishing and connection with the sculpture.  Picture feels a bit tight above and below the sculpture.  Wonder if vertical shots could have added something or breathing room.
