Week 26: Flashlight, 2020

“ Desert Tree ”

As July nears I look for nights I can steal away and photograph the Milky Way. This was the perfect challenge for last night. I used a flashlight with a red gel over it to light the dead tree. This is a 5 image panorama of the Milky Way deep in the heart of Nevada.

I love the red gel light on the tree! Excellent color captures in the sky as well! I’ll have to try the gel technique soon!
