“ My Mother’s Shell ”

My mother and grandmother stayed for a time in Sanibel when I was a baby. I have just a few of the shells she collected. I keep them in the kitchen near the coffee maker.

I also tried a shell for my photo this week, but it was too plain, so I went with some stones from the beach instead. It’s fun to see when someone else does… more

Super shot Amy. I love the simplicity of this. The black and white helps you focus on the super curves, tones and textures in the shell.
