“ All We Are is Dust in the Wind ”

Dust in the Wind by Kansas was a staple of my high school mixed tape collection. The line, I close my eyes only for a moment and the moments gone, feels deeply relevant as a parent. Dust in the wind captures the acceptance I seek as our parents age. It’s a good, full, complicated life.
