“ Japanese Maple ”

I love both the deep wine color and the lacey texture to the leaves. I captured this with early morning light, in a gap between squalls.

I love Japanese maples. I have one in my garden but it has no leaves left now. The last of them fell off a week ago. Gorgeous photograph Adrienne.
