“ West Australian Christmas Tree(nuytsia floribunda) ”

So called because it blooms around christmas. It is also related to mistletoe which has it's own christmas associations.

So I thought I would take this opportunity to send seasons greetings to all 52Framers.

I love that so many native plants are so hardy. The trunk is twisted showing a possible difficult life, and yet it still blooms with so many flowers. Nicely… more
