“ Leading Line Abstraction ”

This is a close-up shot of a ceramic glazed platter. I loved the feel of all the glazes running together, leading your eye to the center of the piece.

What a beautiful platter. I wonder how they did it. Presumably by spinning the plate on a wheel. The lines certainly take the eye on a journey.
