    I wonder why you choosed to lay the focus on the leaves and not the head of the flower.
    Sometimes I do that too so I wonder about your reason.

    My roses are loving the cooler temperatures as well. We just REALLY need some RAIN! Having the lake water available for the flowerbeds really helps, but nothing beats a real rain. Love the simplicity of the rode against the crisp details of the leaves. Nicely framed, also. Next time, I would let the camera focus on the center of the rose, so it's the clearest, and let the edges be more blurred as your depth of field goes away from the center. Great colors. Beautiful, Judy! (Help me pray for rain in our area!!!)

    These are such pretty flowers.  I like how you isolated just one flower so we can see the detail.  It does seem like the leaves are in focus a bit better than the flower though. I wonder if a narrower f stop would have helped.
