“ All Hail The Queen ”

I used a 100mm macro lens at f2.8 to ensure that the queen piece was in sharp focus, with her pawns in soft focus in the background. My intention was to create a hierarchy, where the subject of importance was in focus

The perspective combined with the background blur really give 'her majesty' an imposing presence in this shot!
