“ Witch Hazel ”

My birthday falls in the greyest month of the year. I planted some winter-blooming flowers and shrubs to add some color to my yard and right now my witch hazel is blooming! It took it two years to settle and grow and this is just the second year it has bloomed for me. It makes me smile to see ...

I didn't know that Witch Hazel flowered in the Winter, I must invest in one for our garden.
You have certainly ticked the box for DoF with your background being right out of focus. I would possibly think of cropping tighter to focus more on the flowers as I find the lighter branches a little distracting and they are pulling my eye out of the picture. The colours are amazing, well done.
