I knew that I wanted to use the sky as my background this week. We had storms rolling in, which worked perfectly for the photo I had in mind. My son's dog looks as intimidating as the dark clouds, but he's such a sweet boy.

    In a dog eat dog world, this is an alpha photograph. Normally, in shots such as these with a single, central subject and (in this case) a broad swath of turbulence behind, I would opt for more cropping on the sides. But for some reason I can't articulate, this looks just right the way it is.
    Please make sure you model gets a treat.
