“ Visual symphony ”
I hesitated, and last minute decided to post this one instead. The wires stretched horizontally across the frame, like the lines of a musical staff, with the birds acting as scattered notes, creating an unspoken rhythm. Their silhouettes are frozen mid-motion, some wings outstretched in a fluid ...

    - Where stillness meets motion -

In this photograph, the focus shifts to other fleeting intersections of structure and spontaneity. The wires cut clean, angular lines through the frame, grounding the composition amidst the flurry of wings. The pigeons, caught mid-flight, display a range of movement—from the sharp geometry of outstretched feathers to the blurred streaks of wings in motion. The slight variation in focus adds a dynamic energy to the scene, emphasizing the transition from stillness to flight.

Just as I adjusted my angle, a flock of pigeons took flight, their synchronized movement breaking the stillness with an almost chaotic grace. I was then captivated by the contrast—the rigid geometry of the wires against the unpredictable, organic paths of the birds. In that moment, it felt like I was capturing a balance between the natural world and the human-made, a fleeting harmony in an urban landscape. The black-and-white tones stripped the scene of distractions, leaving only the raw interplay of form, texture, and motion. It was one of those rare, unplanned moments where everything fell into place. This minimalist composition, coupled with the monochromatic palette, evokes a feeling of quiet introspection, as the pigeons soar freely in a moment frozen in time.

I have had a t-shirt with birds on a staff of wires, so this really resonated with me - love it!
