I took a gazillion pics for this and still am not satisfied with the result. All I see is flaws in myself and it is so much harder than I thought taking a self portrait. I used an alienbee 400 with a beauty dish at 45 degree angle and I was holding a silver reflector at torso hight. I forgot to ...

Hi And welcome to 52 frames. I think we all feel the same way about self portraits. BUt its is nice to see everyone faces. You should consider joining a mini FB group so you can get to know people a bit faster. You can run your images past the group before submitting, ask for advice. Its a lovely portrait by the way :-)

Hi Daniela I saw the photo of your daughter on facebook and looked you up in the album. Welcome to 52frames ? I am here now 2 years and started just for fun. Last year I started a one year photography school and did pass last week with a 9. During his year I’m going to to start with professional photography for the first time. I did learn a lot here for sure. Beautiful self portrait , I love the lighting, color and am in love with the background. Curious to see more of you
