I could not believe how long it took to decide on this picture. I'm not sure if this even meets the criteria for 'background', but I think it does. It took me hours to decide on which coo to choose with which background. I took most of the photos with different backgrounds specifically with this ...

Here are the alternatives. I still don't know if any of them fill the quota for the challenge. I wanted to use the one with the two cows on the hill, but I thought the grass/hill is more a foreground than a background.

Such an unusual animal :) We don't see many of these here. Most of our cows are of the short haired variety :)

I would have had a hard time deciding which photo to use too. They are wonderful! The moodiness of the sky really adds to character. Great image!!
