“ Reflection of time ”
Its been mostly below freezing where I live, so a manufactured puddle seemed inevitable. And I had a plan, which I executed partially and submitted, only to change my mind. I even had the extra challenge. Oh so fickle.

It warmed up on Saturday afternoon and we got a few puddles ...

    I like the composition, concept and colours of this image but wonder whether it would have been improved if the clock at least had been in focus. I think I understand it was the reflection in the puddle and maybe hard to get that sharpness, however.

    The fact that no part of the image is really in focus both adds and detracts from it. The lack of focus leaves my eye nothing to grab onto, although it's not blurred… more

    The fact that no part of the image is really in focus both adds and detracts from it. The lack of focus leaves my eye nothing to grab onto, although it's not blurred enough to be abstract. At the same time, the blur says something about the nature of time and memory. I think you could take this image further with more thought and intention.
