“ Wilting tulips ”
We went away for a few days and came back to our tulips in various stages of death. Actually they looked very pretty and far more interesting than the healthy blooms we left days before.

Seems unfortunate that you missed the blooms, but this makes for a very cool image of the various stages of "death"  😉I find it very interesting that the flower in front is the farthest "gone", then the middle one, with the one still holding that classic tulip shape is in the back right corner.  Cool image.
