“ Self Portrait- Profile in Black and White ”
I took this with a grey cardboard backing in front of a diffused umbrella. I'm still trying to perfect this setup, but I like what I accomplished so far.

I will put some BTS pictures in the comments for anyone interested in the lighting setup.

I'm holding a grey cardboard sheet in my left hand and the remote shutter release in my right hand to create this photo. I'm only a couple of inches away from the light source, and the space is VERY narrow, so the light wraps around my face very nicely. If I could have gotten a catch light in my right eye, it would have been much better. Perhaps a reflector or even a small continuous light pointed at the eye would have worked.
