I have a thing for dying and dead flowers. I see a different kind of beauty in them. I actually photograph them quite often in a series I call “Send Me Dead Flowers”.

I like the idea of finding beauty in what most think are not attractive at all. Feels like a metaphor for finding blessings in challenging times of life. This is lovely. I like your interesting background, the way the stems curves up from the corner and leads up to the pop of yellow petals.

Flowers offer chances for photographs at all stages! I agree. Dead or dying flowers can be really interesting! I really like this.
