“ Feather Light ”

This time of year we have hundreds of sulphur-crested cockatoos moving in to decimate the nearby almond orchard, and one of them dropped a feather in our yard.

I had fun experimenting with different perspectives and focal lengths, but this macro shot of the soft downy feathers was one ...
