“ Pre Passata ”

We picked up some boxes of lovely fresh tomatoes from a local producer today to make into passata. My husband ended up doing most of the work, as I was too busy taking photos!

I chose this one because I like how the chopped tomatoes fill the foreground, but you can see some chopping ...

The freshness of the tomatoes is immediately apparent with their bright colors and juicy insides. Nice depth of field.
