Liftoff! Well not really. Labor Day Weekend in Colorado Springs means we have our Hot Air Balloon liftoff, but on this morning it was too windy so they just set up them so everyone could see them at least. I shot this across the lake they take off over, I was hoping to catch them as they flew ...

So they have a Hot Air Balloon festival in the Springs every year? I might have to try to get out there sometime.

This image feels a little flat to me. I'd increase the contrast and saturation and maybe knock down the highlights. The vertical framing is nice and leads you to the balloon. There are two nice anchors, the white shirt and red balloon so it is easy to explore the image. We just need to add some depth back into the image.
