    I agree.  Not wonderful, but like my "ice puddle" pictures, you have to work with what you have.  There is some nice technique here.  Nice low angle, great control of depth of field, some nice highlights in the water, and a nice leading line or two.  That being said, if you were really going to try to make something of this, there would be a LOT of work to be done in post and this image probably isn't worth it.

    BTW, I like the effort to get to the Extra Challenge.  True, the shallow depth of field really worked in your favor, but it still took some work to get there.

    This was a hard one for me as well.  The puddles I found were almost all just down right ugly or frozen!  I think you made a good image out of a very mundane subject with your choice of DOF and color grading.  Nicely done!
