“ Waiting For the Rains to Stop ”
This week Brisbane was anxiously waiting for Tropical Cyclone Alfred to arrive.
Where I live, not much happened, except we have had days of rain and localized flooding.
This Australian magpie chick sought shelter on my back deck, and looked like he was also sick of the rain!

    Awwww... whilst I'm not terribly keen on magpies, you cannot feel pity for the poor bird ...what looks like hunched shoulders says it all. Great photo.
