“ Ruby and Pippen ”

Red Ruby and blue Pippen are giant macaws with stupendous colors and markings. I was trying to capture Pippen alone but Ruby was quite jealous and would not stay out of the photo. The birds are in a local gift store and I and able to get close to both of them. Ruby tried to grab my phone...

I have a friend who has macaws, but too far away to use for this challenge. I’m so pleased someone did this, and not at all surprised it is you. Beautiful in concept, and how you used depth of field to put the focus on the colors and diminish the background noise.
