“ Millie the Momma Mantis ”

This is Millie, our resident praying mantis. She has lived in my butterfly bush all season. I’ve watched her catch and eat bumblebees, moths, spiders, and all sorts of other poor passersby. I have wanted to get her photo for a while now and this was the perfect week! I noticed she was pregnant ...
