“ Blue Butterfly ”

I took my son on a hike at a nearby nature center today and we came across this gorgeous blue butterfly sitting on the trail. I was able to get in really close and take a few pics!

I l love the blues and blacks in this photo. I think the bright background brings the eye up high instead of on the butterfly. I might try a gradient filter to drop… more

I l love the blues and blacks in this photo. I think the bright background brings the eye up high instead of on the butterfly. I might try a gradient filter to drop the whites and highlights somewhat. If I only look at the butterfly, it really stands out by itself.
