“ Herring Run ”

This is the Pembroke Herring Run which meanders from the North River to Great Sandy Pond. At the opposite end of these tributaries is a large water wheel, a/k/a fish ladder. I tried to crop a picture of the fish ladder but there were too many obstacles to get a decent photo. From this angle ...
