“ Creating for likes ”
Well, I've always thought the more likes you get the better the image you produced, so this is more like a message for myself to stop doing that, and maybe practice some more Photoshop instead of only fixing colors and light in Lightroom.

I really like this shot a lot. It's well executed, definitely tells the story you were aiming for, and I think everyone can relate to wanting to feel validated by getting likes on their pictures. I can tell you one thing with absolute certainty though....the number of likes (or lack of likes) a picture gets doesn't always have anything to do with how good the picture is or isn't. Sometimes it's just a matter of a pictures placement in the album, the person is very popular in the group, or people just really love the concept and/or subject. As far as cc (constructive criticism), my only suggestion would be, and this is one I've learned the hard way, is to try to be really aware of everything that's in the frame. What I mean by that is I find whatever the objects are on the lower left of your frame slightly distracting. One is partially blocking your monitor and the other is partially blocking your keyboard. It's not a real big deal because my eyes are definitely drawn to the subject, which is you and your computer, but it's just something that I think would make the shot even better. All in all though, REALLY well done.
