I went to this warehouse thrift store in search of some treasures and some sort of inspiration for this week’s challenge. I’ve been looking for green colored bound books for decorations and this is what I came up with. The wicker is also a lid to a basket that my friend bought. Don’t love love ...

I like the choice of books as the subject. When you have read them, you'll need to report back! I understand your choice of cane as a textured background but it is a bit distracting. Had you thought of a shallow DoF to blur it, thus drawing attention back on the books? This may not have been possible to arrange on the phone, but applying blur in postprocessing could do it.
