“ Mushrooms ”

I was going to make Mushroom Bourguignon, so had bought different types of mushrooms. My husband had just put this old (but clean) wooden box, for some kind of measuring instrument, on the table. I thought it might look good to put them in there. I used a studio flash and reflector screen

Wonderful shot, beautifully rich colour palette and somewhat surreal vibe. Almost like a magical gramophone with multiple horns.
