i saw a cool tree with no leaves, and i like clear skies with shiny light so it was a perfect match really!

Welcome to 52f, I really hope you enjoy the community and challenges. The bare tree has some really interesting shapes and works well as a silhouette against the blank sky. Unless your subject is moving a SS of 1/8000 is not necessary. For this shot a much narrower aperture, maybe F11 or 14 and as low an ISO as your camera allows would make for a good exposure.. have fun
