“ "Lured into my trap" ”
The clever use of perspective is displayed here in the form of sculpture referencing a "hinaki" or eel (tuna)trap. The work known as "Punga" is on the Loop Walkway and sculpture trail in the Whangarei Town Basin.
Maybe I need to update my 18-55ml basic lens to really capture the detail ...

You have some GREAT details... and I love the angle and POV. Well done, Robyn!

A very cool sculpture, I wonder why they didn’t just call it a hinaki?
