Shot using an overhead soft box flash, with a black backdrop. Unfortunately I made the mistake of leaving the room lights on during the exposure, which caused the background to go bluish.

The blue works great. I thought it was outside! Perfect shallow depth of field. I love the sharpness on the star of the show!
