    First, welcome to retirement! May you find it fulfilling! Second, the cheese looks phenomenal (to eat) in the photograph. Great combination, not too unlike what I did for the challenge. You have a great eye for setting up your scenes. Only suggestion would be to get rid of the background either with flash or backdrop or more gentle lighting to get rid of the corner and vertical shadow. But it is a great still life!

    I really like your choice of items to include and the hessian gives it a nice rustic feel. I agree with the comment below about maybe finding a way to extend the hessian to become a whole uniform backdrop but I think otherwise this is really well done 👏
