    very nice Yvonne, the plain background works well. My go to SS for ICM is about where you are or a but quicker and I usually start just off the composition I want, start moving or zooming to correct that and then press the shutter - sort of helps keep the blur smooth. May not work for you of course and your submission has worked well

    This is really pleasing! Kudos for not zooming too much and losing definition of the flowers. And, yes, I think the background is perfect. If it had a lot of detail the whole scene would get too busy. Nice job! Keep trying ICM even on scenes where you're not sure ("Film" is cheap!) I've had some turn out far nicer than I imagined!
