“ Blackbirds in flight ”

I tried to capture the motion of the blackbird flock that is constantly landing and taking off from a tree just outside my backyard. I found this challenge difficult and need more practice.

That’s a tough challenge to set for yourself. The birds are small and they compete with the sharp tree and sky. I think to do what you wanted might require using a… more

That’s a tough challenge to set for yourself. The birds are small and they compete with the sharp tree and sky. I think to do what you wanted might require using a neutral density filter to get the exposure to allow a longer shutter speed. Great effort and nice push of the envelope.
