“ Like Oil and Water ”

I used oil and water in a glass dish elevated above my tablet displaying this abstract blue and orange pattern. I had to use manual focus in order to focus on the oil drop rather than the background. This was very challenging without a macro lens. But I am happy with the outcome. Let me know ...

This is great! I love the range of colours you have created and the focus on the oil drop really helps draw the eye to the blue.

I have often wanted to try this technique. You did well with manually focusing, which is my new normal. I like how the colors vary throughout the frame.
