“ Out for a stroll ”

I really enjoy street photography so I took my new Canon R8 for a walk. Christchurch has some great back alleys to explore. I found this spot and waited for a person to walk by.

I love the strong contrast between the light and shadow in this scene.

The person is a little hard to make out, at least on my monitor - but he is standing in shadow. Using a mask in LR (or editing software of your choice) to make him 'pop' more might fix that.

Lovely photo, and great timing to get the subject in line with the gutter!
