    Super use of the shallow dof to isolate these mementos.  As you say, they do provide food for thought when you stop to consider them.

I hope you don't mind, but I took the liberty of playing with your image in Photoscape. It's a fabulous FREE software available for desktop computers and laptops (no app, though). Tons of tools and in suite tutorials.
