“ Japanese Maple Garden ”

This lonely maple tree can be found at a nearby stately home which has its own Japanese Garden. The patterns drawn in the gravel, really help to provide a frame for the tree.

I really like the angle you have taken this image. It would also fit the theme coming up of "from above". I like the circular rings which frame the tree and it is a perfect time to take the image when the tree has no leaves. It somehow enhances the wabi sabi. I would perhaps have cloned out the top left corner as I find that a little distracting. Great shot.
