I remembered this stone arch on my many walks along the beach near surfers point and thought it a good subject for depth of field. However, I wasn't quick enough to frame the surfer in the arch opening as he walked by. I'm always amazed at the physics involved in building these stone cairns ...

    I love this. Caught my eye immediately. I would have maybe cropped the trees on the right just to avoid distraction to the eye but very successful photo

    Love the scene, the colors, and that cairn. And yes, while it would have been nice to frame the surfer, it is still a great shot.
