“ Granddad's Bench Vise ”
This was my husband's grandfather's old workbench with his Craftsman bench vise still attached.

I attempted focus stacking (does that mean I can claim the extra credit?), but I didn't feel I did a great job with it. I liked the image but the focus wasn't perfectly sharp all the way ...

    I have one of these, too!  I like the focus - the vise is sharp but the background is less so.

    You can tell it is old by the shape, more modern ones have sharper lines and no curves, these old tools are a credit to their designers and owners. On my initial flick… more

    You can tell it is old by the shape, more modern ones have sharper lines and no curves, these old tools are a credit to their designers and owners. On my initial flick through my 22 critiques this week, this is the one that caught my eye, and it is my favourite this week. Big Kudos for attempting and getting the EC in there too.
