“ In it but NOT in It ”
So what do you do when the pet parent doesn't want to be in the shot . . .

All the focus goes on the pet in the foreground and you blur Mom out. It shows their relationship, but doesn't show too much detail on Mom.

    Great pet portrait, and yes tells a great story. I like the out of focus tree, behind, it makes a great distraction free background for the star to shine.
