“ Reflecting on the passage of time ”

My friend totally forgot my bday until almost 2 weeks later but made an awesome cake. She presented it on her grandma's plate with a cake lid. Meanwhile the last of this year's dahlias are reflected on our new stovetop while in my mom's crystal vase. I'm reflecting on this and waving hello.
