“ Rotting trunk yields wheelbarrows of apples ”

This is the trunk of a very old apple tree. It is hollowed out with gases in the perimeter made by PNW rain, moss, time and bear claws. Nonetheless it gave us many wheelbarrows full of apples over the last 23 years. Never judge a book by its cover or a tree by its trunk.

There are various textures in your image. I would suggest choosing 1 of the textures to focus on & getting closer to it. Nice lighting.
