“ Blue Hour Moon ”

This turned into a disaster - I shot it at Blue Hour, but it looks like midnight, and I had a very difficult time getting the moon in-focus. I've shot the moon several times before, but I've never had focusing issues like this.

It's still a very good photo. An old Maori (our indigenous people) story is that when a moon is floating on it's back like this it's collecting water and it will rain in 2-3 days. Check it out, it's always worked for me.

I think you did a great job. Perhaps being a crescent moon, it may have been hard to focus on? There's always editing to make it more blue looking, but I think… more
