“ Treasures ”

Old books with the beautiful rich colors and textures are so nostalgic to me. I'm a retired teacher and these are placed on an antique primary school desk seat in my entryway. The combination of elements--books, desk, school, flowers--are my story.

This is a lovely collection, and the composition is great. The image may have been improved by using a narrower aperture, so we could see more detail in that fabulous… more

This is a lovely collection, and the composition is great. The image may have been improved by using a narrower aperture, so we could see more detail in that fabulous texture. Right now it looks like the focus is solely near the titles/front of the ribbon. I'm wanting to see more of it in focus. I really like the tone.
