This is a hand carved birchwood Kuksa that I purchased several years ago. It has developed some cracks as well as a beautiful coffee-stained patina. #peanutgallery, #wabisabi

I like the soft lighting and how it reflects inside the kuksa. It looks well loved, and works really well for the wabi sabi

The beauty of the wood really stands out against the darker table; the hint of the crack on the left and the coffee stain patina inside makes this image really work.
