    OK, I see what you were going for and you got the exposure and depth of field that you needed.  There is enough detail in the background to provide the needed… more

    OK, I see what you were going for and you got the exposure and depth of field that you needed.  There is enough detail in the background to provide the needed context without being distracting.  My problem is that I get to the end of the fingers and then there's.....nothing....  I think that you could have gotten what you were going for by turning the hand over with the palm up.  You still get the slipping through fingers but the fingers instead of leading to empty space would lead back into an empty palm which I think would have been more pleasing (of course, it could also have been horrible when I actually saw it...).
